What to expect

In this role, you will take overall responsibility for production at our Lienz site and lead a team of more than 30 employees.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Taking technical and disciplinary leadership of the production teams

  • Ensuring production quality, cost efficiency and delivery performance in line with QCD targets

  • Implementing and continuously developing the Lean Production system at the Lienz site

  • Coaching managers and teams in Lean principles and structured problem-solving methods

  • Coordinating infrastructure projects and external service providers

  • Contributing to occupational safety, environmental management and complaint-handling processes

What you bring

You combine sound technical expertise with strong leadership skills and a practical understanding of production environments.

You also bring:

  • A technical education in production engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field, for example from a technical college, university of applied sciences or university

  • Several years of leadership experience in production

  • Practical experience in implementing Lean Production or Operational Excellence programmes

  • Knowledge of relevant ISO standards

  • Ideally, a qualification or certification in Lean, Six Sigma or Operational Excellence

  • Strong technical understanding and excellent organisational skills

  • Confident leadership, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop people and teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
