You apply through our career portal, directly on the relevant job posting. If that isn't an option for you, send your application documents to jobs@kometirrigation.com. Both routes reach the same team. An application via third-party portals or by post is not necessary.
Komet needs your CV, relevant references, your salary expectation and your earliest possible start date. A cover letter is very welcome. For roles in our production areas, completed technical training is an advantage; we are also glad to consider your application if you have several years of relevant experience without a matching qualification. For our other departments we look for a completed degree, or a completed vocational training with relevant experience.
The process runs in a few steps: your application via our career portal, a careful review by our Human Resources team, a first interview with Human Resources and the relevant department, and, depending on the position, a second interview that may include a look at the future workplace. Interviews usually take place in person at the Lienz site. If you don't live near Lienz, or the role is based elsewhere, the first interview can also take place online after arrangement.
Komet confirms receipt of your application within a few minutes. After reviewing your documents, we usually get back to you within a few working days. If it takes longer, you'll receive an interim update.
Komet pays according to the collective agreement of the metal-technology industry (Kollektivvertrag der Metalltechnischen Industrie). The minimum collective-agreement salary is stated in every job posting. Depending on qualification and experience, pay above the agreed rate is expressly provided for. Komet places value on transparency and equal treatment.
