The Komet KPS Deflector range works alongside the KPS Nozzle range to shape how water leaves the sprinkler. The nozzle sets the flow rate, while the deflector — available with varying flat (FL) or concave (CC) groove counts — determines droplet size and spray pattern. Both components are needed together: changing only the nozzle adjusts flow, but changing the deflector is what lets growers match the spray characteristics to different crop stages and sensitivities, all on the same core KPS sprinkler body.
