Komet Sustainability Report Launch 2026

Water is getting harder to predict. Irrigation must get smarter.

Agriculture is under pressure to produce more reliably with a resource that is becoming less predictable: water. At Komet, we believe better irrigation is part of the answer.

Water availability is changing. Rainfall is less predictable, pressure on agricultural water resources is increasing, and growers are being asked to produce efficiently while managing tighter margins.

That makes irrigation efficiency more important than ever.

For Komet, this is not a new direction. It is at the heart of what we have been engineering for more than 70 years: how to apply water more precisely, reliably and efficiently. And the scale of that contribution is growing.

In 2025, Komet products were associated with an estimated 851 million m³ of water savings across 702,000 hectares of susceptible irrigated crop surface. That represents growth of 33% in estimated water savings since our 2022 baseline.

But the numbers are only part of the story.

From engineering to irrigation intelligence

We are investing in a deeper understanding of what happens when our products meet real-world conditions.

Our new Experience Hub in Brazil gives Komet a dedicated environment to test irrigation performance, generate data and translate field conditions into better products and applications.

Test. Measure. Learn. Improve. Apply.

It is a more systematic way of turning engineering knowledge into practical value for growers, partners and OEMs.

Where water stress is greatest

We are also becoming more deliberate about where we focus.

Komet has identified 18 priority countries based on water stress, irrigated agricultural areas, market attractiveness and our ability to serve the market effectively.

In 2025, Komet product volumes grew 48% across these priority water-stressed markets.

Building the company behind the impact

Sustainability is also about how Komet operates.

In 2025, 99% of the energy used in our own production was renewable, while workplace accidents remained at zero. We are also investing in product innovation, digital capabilities, quality, cybersecurity and more systematic measurement.

Because creating impact is one thing. Understanding it, improving it and scaling it is the next step.

That is the direction behind Komet’s 2026 Sustainability Report - and our ambition for what comes next.

Better irrigation. Better engineering. A stronger Komet.
